Pedrali는 1936년 Palazzolo sull'Oglio가 설립한 이탈리아 브랜드다. 건축가 Cino Zucchi가 설계하고, 베르가모 Mornico al Serio에 자리한 본사와 Udine에 위치한 사업부에서 금속, 플라스틱, 목재 등 다양한 재료를 활용해 모든 제품을 이탈리아에서 자체 생산하고 있다. 오랜 역사와 전통을 지닌 브랜드는 주거 공간과 공공장소, 사무 공간을 위한 현대적 가구를 디자인했으며, 끊임없는 노력과 신중한 연구, 디자이너들의 열정으로 컬렉션을 완성했다. 검증된 원료의 사용과 새로운 제작 기술 및 기계를 발굴하고, 단계별로 계획을 수립하는 등 산업 디자인을 세계적 수준으로 높이는 데 일조했고 이를 바탕으로 최고의 권위를 자랑하는 Compasso d'Oro ADI를 수상하며 실력을 인정받았다. Pedrali는 창립 이래 우아함과 정교함이 공존하는 디자인, 장인정신과 새로운 생산 기술의 융합을 바탕으로 꾸준히 제품을 생산하고 있다. 뿐만 아니라 지속가능성과 환경을 고려해 원자재의 소비, 폐기물 관리 및 배출 등에 주의를 기울이고 설계 단계에서부터 분해될 수 있도록 고안되었다. 2020년에는 100% 재활용 플라스틱으로 만든 첫 번째 컬렉션을 선보였으며, 제품의 생산 주기가 환경에 미치는 영향과 온실가스 배출의 총량을 측정하는 연구를 완료해 현재와 미래의 환경을 지속적으로 생각하고 배려하는 브랜드로 거듭나고 있다.

Featured by a soft and rounded shape, both chair and lounge chair owe their distinctive appearance to their sophisticated flower-shaped profile in extruded aluminium. Indeed, the name “Blume”, German for “flower”, highlights the design’s iconic decorative detail, while paying tribute to the designer’s origins.

우아하고 품격 있는 안락의자 Ila는 개성적이면서도 세련된 가구로 최고의 편안함을 자랑한다. 유려한 곡선형의 라인은 우리 몸을 부드럽게 감싸는 실루엣을 형성하며, 견고한 폴리우레탄 소재와 매끄러운 외관은 신체를 단단하게 받쳐준다. 헤드레스트가 있는 버전은 기존 안락의자에 새로움을 더한 디자인으로, 일생 생활에 색다른 감각을 선사한다. 시트는 커버 교체가 가능하도록 제작해 제품의 수명을 늘렸다.

The Remind chair is the latest addition to the Catalan designer’s collection. Drawing on the soft, sinuous curves of the wooden chairs of the late 19th century, reinterpreted in an innovative key, this sensual and romantic design has a completely new feel about it.

The idea behind Panarea is rooted in the Mediterranean coastline, and in the colours and refreshing breeze of an outdoor dinner on a sea-facing terrace, on a pleasant summer day. This collection of outdoor seats, including an armchair and a lounge armchair, feature a traditional element hand-woven in Italy as a sign of respect for and dedication to Italian craftsmanship.

Rail은 뜨거운 여름과 단조로운 일상을 탈출하기 위해 꼭 필요한 가구로, 심플한 라인과 현대적인 디자인이 특징이다. 테라스, 정원 혹은 수영장에서 휴식을 취하기에 적합한 라운지 체어는 얇은 프레임과 4개의 스테인리스 스틸로 제작됐다. 등받이는 원하는 각도로 자유롭게 조절이 가능하며, 방수와 자외선에 강한 패브릭으로 제작된 시트는 편안한 쿠션감을 자랑한다.

The Toa table combines a technical-industrial style with decorative allure, giving life to a functional and evocative product. With its name, designer Robin Rizzini, who inaugurated his collaboration with Pedrali in 2020, pays tribute to his Genoese origins, the dialect for “table” being in fact “toa”.

Toa 테이블은 산업 디자인과 현대적인 감각을 결합해 기능적이면서도 매력적인 제품으로 탄생했다. 가볍고 미니멀한 테이블은 대형 상판을 지지하기 위한 기하학적인 디자인과 알루미늄 프레임으로 구성되어 있으며, 얇은 하단과 상단을 지지하는 'T'자 모양이 특징이다. 심플한 디자인과 강한 강도의 소재가 조화롭게 어우러져 제품에 생기를 불어넣었다.

Aim of the Catalan designer is to express an idea of uncontaminated and pure creativity, without the ornaments that would conceal its true nature. The ash structure has a minimalistic, flowing silhouette, characterized by a harmonious interplay of curves and subtle lines.
